A vacation in Puerto Vallarta at Garza Blanca Residence Club is no ordinary vacation. The vacation club is located on the property of a 85 acre preserve which offers endless possibilities for free tours and nature activities for all the family. There are so many fun free activities to enjoy throughout the week that you will be spoiled for choice.
The first attraction for members staying at Garza Blanca is the stunning scenery and infinity pools. On the seafront there are two pools looking out to the ocean, one infinity, the other a family pool with splash pads and fountains. Higher into the mountainside you will find another quieter infinity pool with a spectacular view of Banderas Bay and by the end of November 2014, members will be able to start using the rooftop pool that is located on the 18th floor of the resort’s newest edition, Hotel Mousai.
The beach at Garza Blanca Residence Club is also a coveted gem, being one of the most beautiful in Puerto Vallarta with white sand and turquoise water. There are many free beach activities to enjoy such as snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding as well as beach volleyball and soccer. During peak seasons, you can also enjoy sandcastle competitions.
Food lovers will delight at the gourmet activities on offer at Garza Blanca Residence Club. Every Monday there is a rotating culinary program which sees the chef prepare mole, salsas, fresh coconut salads and aguas sensoriales (flavored water) for guests and members to sample. During the coconut festival you will see the head gardener carve animal shapes form the husks of coconuts while learning all about the marvelous properties of the coconut. Once a week you can enjoy the chef’s catch of the day, an activity where Blanca Blue’s chef receives fresh fish from fishermen on the beach and prepares a fresh ceviche in full view. You can also buy fish by the kilo and have the chef prepare it just as you like.
If you like to explore, you will be delighted by the range of hiking tours and walks that you can enjoy at Garza Blanca Residence Club, there are three types of hikes that take you to different places, including a river for swimming and a waterfall. The kids mini hike includes arts and crafts as you stop along the way to paint stones and coconut husks.There is also soon to be a walking meditation tour which guides you through all the wonderful new statues on the property.
One of the highlights for new members at Garza Blanca Residence Club is often the tropical and city tour that takes you on a guided tour bus into Puerto Vallarta. The bus tour is offered once a week and you will be taken into town and shown the sights like the malecon (boardwalk), the main plaza and church and the Marina. There will also be plenty of time for souvenir shopping as you can enter Puerto Vallarta’s flea market as well as other stores on the day trip. After the city part of the day, you will then relax surrounded by tropical scenery at Chico’s Paradise where you can buy lunch and lounge by the river a while.
