International Airport At Puerto Vallarta

Known officially as the Licenciado Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport, the International airport at Puerto Vallarta is modern and has excellent connections to the United States and Canada.

While the international airport at Puerto Vallarta is now classified among the top 10 busiest airports in Mexico, your visit to the Puerto Vallarta International airport won’t be frenzied as the building itself boasts a logical and easy-to-navigate layout. All flights are dealt with quickly and efficiently and, even better, you don’t have to carry your bags far to get where you need to go!

The Layout at the International Airport at Puerto Vallarta

Set on two levels, the international airport at Puerto Vallarta keeps things simple; the lower levels hosts check-in desks on one side and arrivals on the other. On this level you will also find shops, cafe’s and currency exchange services. Domestic and international arrivals are nicely separated and, as such, provide good meeting spots; no need to worry about getting lost here.

On the upper level you’ll find restaurants, a few stores and the security area; the best part is that security is only 10 minutes from the departure gates so you don’t have to be a gym bunny to catch your flight! Once you pass security, you’ll be able to browse Duty free before passing through to Hall A for national flights or Hall B for International departures.

Documentations and Immigration at the international airport at Puerto Vallarta

During your incoming flight to Puerto Vallarta International airport you should be given an immigration form to fill in. On this you should record your length of stay and where you will stay; the immigration officer will take this from you when you arrive, stamp your passport and give you a small exit slip. It is really important that you do not lose this slip; keep it with your passport and plane tickets as you’ll need it to exit Mexico. If you don’t have it you may incur a fine.

Once you have passed immigration at the international airport at Puerto Vallarta, you’ll be asked to press a button that shows a green or red light. Green mean you can go. If red, then your suitcase will be searched. Don’t panic though; these searches are random. Just don’t forget to declare anything you may need to! Customs can be very particular about alcohol and cigarettes.

Find Out if Save ’n’ Vacations is a Scam

Are you looking to find out if Save ’n’ Vacations is a scam? Are you unconvinced by the low prices quoted by the website or the agent calling on 1-855-873-7988? This is not an uncommon concern but one that is unfounded. According to customer reviews and all accounts from scam forums, Save ’n’ Vacations is not a scam.

The main concern that people have is that Save ’n’ Vacations is a scam travel company that will run off with your money leaving you will no vacation and no money in your bank! The reality is that Save ’n’ Vacations is the real deal and are able to offer the cheapest deals on the internet for vacation packages in Mexico for legitimate reasons. Save ’n’ Vacations accommodations are offered at excellent hotels and resorts, which is why many believe it is a scam as the low prices just don’t add up.

Discover if Save ’n’ Vacations is a scam

In a skeptical world where scams are a daily occurrence, you are right to doubt Save ’n’ Vacations’ legitimacy. However, there really is no need. There are a couple of reasons that explain how it is possible for Save ’n’ Vacations to provide low cost vacation packages without there being a scam. On the one hand, Save ’n’ Vacations only deal with key destinations in Mexico (Cancún, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Loreto). Save ’n’ Vacations specialize in Mexico vacations meaning it can really get the best deals thanks to constant negotiation and a steady stream of vacationers enjoying its cheap package deals.

Another explanation for Save ’n’ Vacations’ low prices is that in some respect you also pay you vacation by giving a little of your time. One of the conditions for being selected by Save ’n’ Vacations to enjoy the special discount on Mexico vacations is that you must attend a presentation in one of the local hotels (sometimes the very same hotel where you are staying). This talk usually lasts around 3 hours and if you do not decide to buy, you are totally free to go about enjoying your vacation, no hassle, no selling, just you and your vacation. In this respect, it is a win win situation – you get a cheap vacation, the hotels fill their rooms and the sales team enjoy your company for a few hours.

Save ’n’ Vacations is a scam?

However, there are a couple of things to look out for when choosing a Save ’n’ Vacations package deal. On one forum, a couple claimed that Save ’n’ Vacations is a scam because they wished to take an extra person and were charged the full rate. Hardly a scam; Save ’n’ Vacations packages stipulate how many people are included in the deal, which is usually 2 adults and 2 children under 12.

Taking a child over 12 will counts as an adult, likewise a 3rd child would be charged the full rate. Another incident happened where a couple arrived to the presentation obviously under the influence of alcohol. When the couple refused to attend the presentation the following day when they had not been drinking, they were charged the full rate for the vacation. All of these points are clearly stated in the reservation contract so, just beware of Save ’n’ Vacations’ conditions. In both instances, this can not be considered a scam, but rather the folly of the hotel guests.

Beware Club Caribe Fraud

Beware Club Caribe Fraud when you buy timeshares in Cancun; while Club Caribe is a legitimate vacation club, fraudsters may use their name to fool you! However if you’re clever and careful you can easily avoid a Club Caribe fraud and bag yourself a great investment.

Should you beware Club Caribe scams in Cancun?

Yes and no. Club Caribe is, as previously stated, a legitimate vacation club but many scammers will try to hide behind their good reputable name. If you ensure that you only buy from the official sellers in the salesroom at the Villa del Palmar Cancun resort then you should never face timeshare fraud. Many of the most costly timeshare scams happen when bogus sellers claim to sell non-existent timeshares; if you are offered a Club Caribe membership without being on site at the Villa del Palmar or are taken elsewhere to sign a contract then beware. If this happens then report such offers immediately to the Club Caribe sales team!

Other timeshare scams, such as resale scams, are possible but less likely for Club Caribe as Villa del Palmar Cancun Beach Resort & Spa only opened in 2011. Resale scams occur when membership owners are tempted with large amounts of money for their Club Caribe memberships; in return, the fraudsters claim that all they must do is pay an enrolment fee. They are told that buyers are interested in their timeshare and, after paying the fee, find out that this was a scam and the agent has pocketed the fee.

So, in many ways, it is true that you must beware Club Caribe fraud while on vacation in Cancun but with a little common sense you can give these fraudsters the slip and get yourself a good investment for a future vacation! Just be sure you buy direct from Club Caribe and read the contract before signing!

Find Vacation Members Reviews

Where can you find Vacation Members Reviews?

There are number of places where you can find Vacation Members reviews, including TripAdvisor, VacationMembers.com and various travel forums. Here, I have compiled a generally summary of the Vacation Members reviews I have found so far about the online and telesales travel agency.

Scam or Legit?

All the evidence points to the fact that VacationMembers.com and the telesales agents who call from 1(800) 345 7439 are not a scam. Vacation Members offer really cheap all inclusive vacation accommodation packages for destinations in Mexico such as Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas, with additional offers for Orlando, USA. Most people assume that Vacations Members is a scam because of the low prices quoted on the website.

Is Vacation Members as Cheap as the website quotes?

Yes. According to customer reviews, the deals shown on the Vacation Members website are the same prices you will be offered if you qualify for their discount. The reason you may be called directly by Vacation Members is to ensure that you meet all the criteria to be able to enjoy the low prices on all inclusive Mexico vacations. Vacation Members also claim to guarantee the lowest prices in comparison to any of the major hotels in Mexico and I read many Vacation Members reviews that said they got the cheapest deal and could not find anything cheaper online.

Accommodation and Hotels

Vacation Members reviews supported the website’s claim for quality accommodations and all inclusive provision. Most customer reviews write about the spacious rooms with sea views while others give top ratings for the food and location. What all Vacation Members reviews seem to be unanimous on is the quality of the destinations. Only one review I read was unhappy with the Mexico destination, and the reason for the discontent of the reviewer was because he missed his flight back home because he and his family arrived to the airport late.

Value and Quality

Another common feature mentioned in the Vacation Members reviews was the great value for money. There was no issues about the cost of the all inclusive vacation accommodation offered and most said that attending the timeshare was painless. More specifically relating to the presentation, quite a number of the Vacation Members reviews commented how, after the presentation, guests were not bothered again nor treated any differently for not buying.

Why buy Club Caribe Membership?

There are some questions I get asked that are so easy to answer, and reasons why to buy Club Caribe membership in Cancun is one of them.

If you were to compare the leading timeshare memberships in Cancun (and indeed Mexico ), you would find that Club Caribe is one of the best offers and great value for money. Not only do you get to stay in one of Cancun’s newest resorts in the exclusive Playa Mujeres area, you also benefit from all the resorts developed by Club Caribe’s world class developers, the Villa Group and Tafer Hotels & Resorts.

Firstly, the reason that you are likely to fall in love with Club Caribe and buy a timeshare in Cancun is probably thanks to the incredible Villa del Palmar Cancun resort, which will become your home resort. Depending on your membership privileges you can return to Villa del Palmar Cancun each year staying for as long as your points allow. Villa del Palmar Cancun is an incredible resort with 5 outdoor pools including an adults only pool and kids splash playground and pool. Located right on the beach, you will also enjoy waiter service by the Caribbean sea and a swing bar on the sand, not to mention an idyllic pier that offers the most spectacular photo opportunities.

One of the main selling points for Club Caribe membership is the excellent cuisine. There are four gourmet restaurants and a snack bar, which are included in the all inclusive meal plans that can be enjoyed by Club Caribe members too, either pre-paying with club points or in cash. There is also a deli and mini-market where you can purchase other special items with cash or by charging to your suite. Room service is also available 24 hours a day; and during peak seasons, there are regular special buffets to match the theme night entertainment each night.

Club Caribe membership offers you the very best in accommodations in Cancun. Few hotels and resorts will compare with the size and elegance of the suites offered. The smallest room is larger than most hotel rooms and comes with a fridge and wet bar, in addition to an en suite bathroom and balcony with a large hammock. Any suite larger than the Deluxe Room features a full kitchen, whirlpool tubs etc with more and more wonderful benefits as you go up in scale to the penthouses and three bedroom residences.

Although your main motivation for buying a timeshare at Club Caribe is to be able to visit Cancun each year and enjoy all the fantastic activities available both on site at Villa del Palmar Cancun and through tour agencies, you can also use your Club Caribe membership to stay in other locations in Mexico such as Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and Loreto. In Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta you have a number of choices, including the ultra luxurious Hotel Mousai or Garza Blanca Preserve in the south beach area. However, your choices do not stop at Mexico. Club Caribe membership allows you to qualify for Interval International exchanges, with whom you can swap your timeshare in Cancun for other destinations around the globe.

I really could go on and on talking about the advantage of Club Caribe. The best thing for you to do is attend a presentation and see for yourself. After all, words can’t convince you, only your experience can.

(855) 873 7988

Finding cheap vacation accommodation in Mexico is not as difficult as your think. Just last week I received various missed calls from (855) 873 7988 only to find that it was a discount vacation company calling to say that I had been selected to receive a special discount.

Being a vacation expert, I was interested in hearing what they had to say (expecting a scam, to be honest). The first time I was called by (855) 873 7988, I was just on my way out to dinner, and so I couldn’t answer, and then I saw another missed call the next morning around 11am while I was at work. That evening the call came in again and I was prepared to hang up if it was an insurance company or market research.

The calls from (855)8737988 were from a travel company called Save N Vacation that I have not heard of before. The Save N Vacation agent that called me was called Adrian and he said he was based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The special deal that I was being called about was for discounted vacation accommodation in Cancun and Puerto Vallarta only. Save N Vacations (855) 873 7988 specialize in these two destination only.

I tried to get as much information as I could from the agent to be able to check if it was a scam. After a series of questions from the (855) 873 7988 agent, it turned out that I was eligible for a really huge discount on accommodation in a hotel in Puerto Vallarta or Cancun, on the condition that I attended a sales pitch. Once I heard the catch, I was reassured it was not a scam. This is a common offer provided by some vacation companies as a means of filling hotel rooms and boosting sales at the same time. 99.9 times out of ten these are not scams.

When I declined the offer, Adrian spent a short while trying to convince me what a great deal I was getting, but he was very polite. I asked him to take my number off the (855)8737988 callers list, and I have not heard from them since. However, he did say that if I changed my mind, that I could call them back on the same number: (855) 873 7988 and receive a similar offer in the future, while “stocks last ”! If you are thinking about a vacation in Cancun or Puerto Vallarta and have a low budget and don’t mind giving up a couple of hours of your time, give them a call on the free number (855)8737988 and see if you qualify. The worst that can happen is that you are not eligible.
